The Victorian Seniors Festival is a major state-wide festival for seniors. For over 40 years, the festival has provided opportunities for senior Victorians to participate in a range of activities and events and connect with their community.

In East Gippsland, the Seniors Festival is occurring over the month of October. There are over 50 events and activities that are live and local and are mostly free!

The Bairnsdale Aquatic and Recreation Centre supports our senior community by offering programs to improve muscle strength, balance and endurance as we age.

To allow local seniors the opportunity to explore a facility that aims to improve their health and wellness, the Bairnsdale Aquatic and Recreation Centre will be offering the following sessions free of charge during the month of October:

- 30 minute Dry Group Fitness Session. Wednesday 23rd at 9:30am.

- 30 minute Aqua Group Fitness Session + Morning Tea. Wednesday 23rd at 10:15am.

Four 3-Month Gold Memberships will also be given away. Provide your name and contact information at reception to enter, 1 entry per visit and must be 60 years of age or above. Prizes to be drawn November 1.
